UnityAI Launches Voice AI for Outpatient Healthcare Scheduling
UnityAI introduces voice AI agents to automate patient scheduling in outpatient clinics, reducing reliance on costly call centers.

UnityAI, a Nashville-based AI startup, has launched voice AI agents aimed at automating scheduling and communication tasks in outpatient clinics. These agents are designed to handle tasks such as appointment scheduling, confirmation, and call follow-ups, alleviating the need for offshore call center staff.
The AI agents help streamline operations by engaging in patient interactions around the clock and in multiple languages, thereby reducing costs and improving efficiency. CEO Edmund Jackson noted that these agents can replace existing call center functions, making them a cost-effective solution for outpatient clinics.
UnityAI's technology supports centralized operations for large outpatient clinic groups, managing around 150,000 interactions monthly across various medical specialties. The AI can also access a patient's medical history, enabling personalized interactions.
The launch of these AI agents adds UnityAI to a growing list of companies using AI to enhance patient communication for healthcare providers. Other startups in the field have secured substantial funding to expand their AI capabilities for similar tasks.
